How may I distinguish true Bible "symbols"?
We
suggest two ways to determine whether or not a symbol exists.
First, it is a symbol when
(1) The immediate context
said so (Dan 2:31, 16; Zech. 5:6,9)
(2) It is truly impossible
in reality (Rev. 12:1; 17:3; Ezek. 8:3).
Second, it is NOT a symbol when
(1) It involves things
possible (Isa. 65:25; Rev. 21:21)
(2) Many details are given
(Rev. 7:4-8; 11:3-12; Ezek. 40-48)
(3) It separates from
itself (Rev. 7:13; Ezek. 48:8,15)
