[Revelation
Ch.20b: The Great White Throne]
V.
Its Deathly Reach
REV
20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death
and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged
every man according to their works.
The death of a person is not really his end. Suicide does not terminate
life's sufferings. Someday, death and hell will give up their dead to be
judged. The Bible says: "It is appointed unto men once to die, but
after this the judgment" (Heb. 9:27).
Although the "books" of every life will be opened for final
examination, in reality there is utterly no hope for the unsaved. The very
first page of his life would condemn him to the Lake of Fire. No one could
ever defend his every little sin. And heaven cannot allow one little sin,
otherwise heaven soon becomes hell.
