19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their
armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse,
and against his army. How futile are human efforts to withstand Him! A simple word from Christ's mouth would settle the issue. REV
19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false
prophet...These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with
brimstone. Here both beasts in Revelation 13 (the antichrist and his false prophet) are cast alive into the Lake of Fire. This final abode of the unsaved is detailed in Revelation 20. It appears that these are the first two inhabitants of the Lake of Fire. The present-day unsaved dead are in hell-hades. REV
19:21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat
upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls
were filled with their flesh. The entire army of the antichrist and the nations' armies arrayed against Christ are killed. The chapter concludes with a graphic description of the work of scavenging birds on the battlefields.
