The Beast Out of the Earth

13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth
This is the False Prophet who will lead the worldwide worship of the antichrist. The description "of the earth" give the impression of his being from the land of Palestine. Perhaps he is an apostate Jew. REV
13:12 And he...causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to
worship the first beast This makes him a Satanic imitator of the Holy Spirit who directs worship of Christ. The infernal trinity is now complete-- Satan (the antigod) First Beast (the antichrist) Second Beast (the antispirit) REV
13:14 ...that they should make an image to the beast
Like Nebuchadnezzar's image, this image is intended for world worship.
Perhaps it will be set up in the Jerusalem temple. It will satisfy the
natural man's craving for idol worship, which is a characteristic of all
false religions. REV
13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast,
that the image of the beast should both speak By some natural or supernatural process, this man-made image would be given life and be made to speak. We cannot be sure about the reason for this phenomenon. But we recognize that Satan could be allowed to do wonder and work miracles. REV
13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor,
free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their
foreheads: The universal command is issued: everyone must have the mark of the beast on their persons. In view of present-day economic developments, it is not surprising to see numbers that would be imprinted on a person's body to help in identification and recognition purposes. REV
13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the
mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. The antichrist is smart enough to realize that to rule the world, he must dominant its economy. Food and finance are basic for soliciting allegiance. The antichrist's control over the economy of the world will enable him to issue such a decree. REV
13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the
number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six
hundred threescore and six.
The number 666 is presented as that of a man. The antichrist is not a
machine or the computer. He is a real-life, breathing person. And if he is
