[Revelation Ch.12: The Dragon and the Woman] IntroductionAlthough the 7th trumpet is noted as having sounded in 11:15, Chapter 16 will record the actual events that would transpire at its sounding. Meanwhile, chapters 12-15 are "interludes" that may be chronologically determined only from their respective contexts. In this and the next chapters, we see six end-time personages who will be prominent during the second half of the tribulation— (1) Woman clothed with the sun (Israel) (2) Red Dragon with 7 heads and 10 horns (Satan) (3) Man Child (Christ) (4) Michael the Archangel (5) Beast out of the sea (Antichrist) (6) Beast out of the earth (False Prophet)
