[Introduction to Revelation] II. Authorship
Tradition ascribes to John the Apostle as the author of this book. The
name "John" is found in 1:4,9 and 22:8,9.
The style of writing is somewhat different because of the special nature
of this book. Most of its contents are apocalyptic and visionary.
