[Introduction to Revelation] I. Introduction
The Book of Revelation is the God's last word to man.
But many Christians are either ignorant of or afraid to study this
book exhaustively. God wants
us to study Revelation and promises to bless those who "read it,
listen to it, and keep it" (Rev. 1:3).
This book will open our eyes to
the future kingdoms of Christ and the Antichrist; the unprecedented Great
Tribulation with its 7 seals, 7 trumpets, and 7 bowls judgments; and the
final glorious coming of Christ to start His kingdom at the Millennium and
in the New Heaven and Earth.
As we live in today's uncertain
society, this book will become a searchlight into the future.
It is relevant, comforting and encouraging to God's people in
stressful times.
This last book of the inspired
record climaxes and culminates many lines of Bible prophecies. It
graphically portrays the Great Tribulation and final events, such as the
Second Coming, Millennium, and New Heaven and Earth.
