[Daniel Ch.12: Concluding Events] I.
Two Promises (12:1-3)
DAN
12:1-2 And at that time shall Michael stand up...and there shall
be a time of trouble, such as never was...and at that time thy people
shall be delivered...And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth
shall awake
As God prepares to close this prophetic book, He revealed that Israel
would be protected by the archangel Michael during the Tribulation period. Moreover, those who died would be resurrected. Those Jews who believed on the Messiah would be raised to enjoy the covenanted blessings, while the unbelieving Jews would go into "shame and everlasting contempt."
